Team Heat/Cool
Team Heat/Cool is a financial assistance matching program. If you make a partial or full payment on your gas or electric bill, you may qualify for matching funds.
Team Heat is CLOSED. Please check back near December 2025 for program availability.
Requirements:

As part of this program you must complete a financial education course. We recommend the Khan Academy which provides a free course on budgeting. Click here to complete the course.

Proof of income for the last 30 days for anyone in the household 18 or older (W2, pay stub, SSI printout, TANF, child support, disability and any other cash income)

Proof of address

Photo ID for anyone in the household 18 or older

Utility bill you are requesting help with (your bill must be in your name)

Proof of payment (even if it is only a partial payment) on most recent utility bill. Receipt must show your name, address, and account number.
