Food Assistance
The St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Joseph County provides emergency food assistance through our food pantry, bread basket, home visits, and community garden.
Food Pantry
The St. Vincent de Paul Society's food pantry is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am until 2pm.

If this is your first time utilizing our food pantry or if you do not live in an area served by one of our Vincentian conferences, you can visit the St. Vincent de Paul Center at 520 Crescent Avenue in South Bend.

Please Note:
You may utilize the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry once every 30 days. A photo ID and proof of address (current within 60 days) are required at every visit.
Bread Basket
The Society coordinates its efforts with local businseses and other nonprofits to eliminate food waste in our community. When businesses have excess bread products, the Society is able to distribute these items to our neighbors through the Bill Szajko Bread Basket located at the St. Vincent de Paul Center at 520 Crescent Avenue in South Bend.

The bread basket is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am until 2pm. If you are only picking up bread, no identification is required.
